Ram 2500 Yellowstone Edition

When you start with a RAM 2500 Yellowstone Edition, you’ve already got a serious head-turner on your hands. But for this heavy-duty build, leaving it stock was never an option. The goal here was simple: build a no-compromise, legal, and ultra-capable weapon ready to handle the absolute toughest conditions WA can throw at it. From performance upgrades under the bonnet to barwork and a massive GVM increase, everything on this rig was selected to turn it into the ultimate long-distance tourer.

The backbone of this massive rig is our GVM Stage 5 upgrade, engineered right here to legally boost payload capabilities to a massive 5550kg GVM for the RAM 2500 and 3500 platforms. This package features Federal Approval and full SSM compliance, meaning it is 100% legal and engineered right out of the box. We set this one up with premium Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Front and Rear Suspension, paired with a 3 inch Lift Kit with Radius Arms and heavy-duty ORI 50mm Front and Rear Coils to maintain a plush, bulletproof ride under load. Under the bonnet, we made sure that big Cummins diesel could breathe easy and run cool, installing a Banks Monster Ram Intake and an AEV Snorkel for an unrestrictive Air Ram Intake. To bulletproof the drivetrain for heavy towing and remote touring, we backed it up with a Banks differential cover and a Banks deep pan transmission pan, letting a full Banks Monster Exhaust System take care of the spent gases.

But a big build isn’t just about what’s under the skin; it’s about making it functional and looking the part on the road. We bolted up a colour-coded Offroad Creative bull bar up front, packed with a lethal Baja Designs light package to turn night into day. To house the wider footprint, we threw on Husky Extenda Flares and heavy-duty mudflaps, while a massive Titan long-range fuel tank means the owner will be bypassing the bowser for days on end.

We rounded out the build with the essential touring smarts: an Anderson plug for constant power, and a GME Connect 4WD pack to keep comms crystal clear when they’re way past the black stump.
