Silverado 2500 HD

This Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with Duramax power came in straight from a big touring trip. The owners had done the hard yards, towing their van across WA’s wide open roads, and came back knowing exactly what they wanted: a suspension setup that could handle the weight with more control, and smarter features to make life on the road that bit easier.

First on the list was the suspension. We installed a BDS 3 Inch Lift Kit with FOX Performance Elite Shocks, a top-tier setup built to handle heavy loads while keeping the ride smooth and stable. It gives the Silverado the clearance and capability it needs for rougher roads and off-grid tracks. To complement the lift, we added Boss Airbags with a Cab Controller, giving the driver full control over rear ride height depending on the load. This is perfect for levelling out when the van’s hooked up. Supporting it all are Method wheels, chosen for their strength and fitment with the heavy-duty suspension.

Inside the cab, we kept things clean and functional. A GME Connect 4WD Pack was installed with a stealthy finish. The UHF antenna and radio are neatly tucked away to keep the dash uncluttered, but communication remains crisp when you’re out in the sticks. Add in a Redarc Smart Start and an ARB Brushless Air Compressor, and this rig is ready to handle flat tyres, remote starts, and all the other curveballs that come with life on the road.

To round out the build, we added a HSP Roll Cover to secure the tub. It’s ideal for keeping gear safe and improving aerodynamics while towing. Simple, smart, and tough enough for any touring setup.
