The owner wanted something far more capable. A farmer who knows his way around tough conditions and long days on the road, he needed a rig that could tow heavy, explore the outback with confidence, and handle anything WA could throw at it. So we got to work turning this Silverado into a fully equipped touring machine from the ground up.

The transformation started with a full GVM upgrade to 5900 kg, giving the truck the strength and stability needed for serious loads. That included a 3 inch lift kit, Fox shocks, BDS control arms, Bushwacker flares, and Offroad Industries leaf springs. With the help of Boss manual airbags and an in cab controller, the rear end is now perfectly set up for towing, no matter the weight or terrain. Bigger KMC wheels complete the stance, giving the Silverado room to move and the presence to match its capability.

Next came range, storage, and protection. A Titan long range fuel tank now keeps the miles rolling without constant fuel stops. Off Road Creative supplied the canopy, roof rack, and bull bar, turning the back of the truck into a touring base and the front into a fortress. A Bushwacker awning offers instant shade on hot days, while a Carbon Offroad winch stands ready for recovery. The AMP Research PowerStep makes climbing into the lifted rig easy, even with arms full of gear.

Inside and around the cab, we added the tech and tools that make remote travel safer and smoother. A GME Connect 4WD Pack keeps the comms clear, the ARB brushless compressor handles tyres on the go, and an Anderson plug sets the truck up for towing and charging duties. Cel-Fi boosts reception in the outback, Starlink brings reliable connectivity anywhere on the map, and a Switch Pro system keeps all the accessories organised and controlled.
